The School of Midwifery and Radiologic Technology offers the following programs of study:
Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology
Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology (BS RadTech) is a four-year degree program designed to train students on how to operate medical imaging equipment such as X-rays, CT scanners, MRIs, sonogram machines, and 3D medical imaging programs, as well as the computer and web-based software programs. Students are also taught on how to perform associated clerical duties, that include scheduling and maintaining paperwork for office and clinical machinery.
Diploma in Midwifery
The Diploma in Midwifery program (DM) provides students with knowledge and skills about the foundations of midwifery, normal obstetrics and care of the newborn, as well as basic family planning.
The program also includes topics related to managing pregnancies, postpartum periods, high risk Obstetrics, midwifery ethics law and practice.
It also aims to produce graduates who are competent for work as educators, health care providers and supervisors/administrators.
