Mission

The Southland College School Clinic is committed to provide quality medical and dental care that are highly responsive to the needs of the students and employees.

Objectives

To provide counseling through health teachings and posters.
To facilitate good environmental sanitation within the campus.
To monitor the health and well-being of students and employees.
To identify the health hazards in the campus in coordination with the school's safety and security team
To conduct thorough assessment on students with health complaints.
To provide basic nursing procedures to students with health problems.
To administer proper treatment and medication as per doctor’s order.
To employ first aid or immediate management in emergency cases.
To facilitate referrals of cases as the need arises.

Services Offered

Consultation
Students and employees may refer their health concerns to the school physician and dentist
Check-Up For Apprenticeship, Educational Trips and Sports and Cultural Competitions
The school physician and dentist conducts check-up as a requirement for contest, OJT, educational tour requirements
Medical And Dental Check-Up
The clinic facilitates annual Medical and Dental Check-Up conducted the physician and dentist.
Emergency Services
The clinic is equipped with emergency equipment that can be used during emergency situations Red Cross Youth volunteers are part of the health group that can help and support students in case of emergency.
First Aid Treatment
The clinic provides first aid treatment to students and employees. First Aid volunteers are also deployed during school activities to ensure that first aid treatment will be applied immediately.
Regular Dispensary Services
The clinic offers blood pressure monitoring, vital signs taking, consultation, health teaching, referral, dispensing of first aid treatment as prescribed by the school physician and dentist.
Health Counseling
The clinic gives health counseling pertaining to health concerns. Updated and health related posters and information are also posted on the bulletin board.
Referrals
The clinic gives makes referral for proper evaluation and treatment.
