The School of Education, Arts and Sciences offers the following programs of study:

Bachelor of Elementary Education

Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) is a four-year degree program designed to prepare students to become primary school teachers. The program that encompasses theory and practice seeks to teach students the necessary knowledge and skills that a primary school teacher needs to possess. The program likewise aims to produce competent teachers specializing in the pedagogical approach in education.

Students enrolled in this program are prepared to pass the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

Bachelor of Secondary Education

(BSEd) is a four-year program that prepares its students for the art and science of teaching.

The areas of specialization offered by the program are: Science, English, Filipino, Mathematics, and Social Studies. Students who would like to be teachers, need to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

  • Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English
  • Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Filipino
  • Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Math
  • Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies

Bachelor of Arts in Political Science

(AB PolSci) is a four-year degree program that centers on the study of the types of government, the history and forms of political institutions, political behavior, and political policies. It covers important areas of study including Philippine Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Political Theory and Methodology, Public Administration, Political Dynamics, Local and Global Governance, and Research in Politics.
